For several months, I have been working on painting pictures based on the artwork from the 13th century Ramsey Psalter. I used acrylic inks on drafting vellum and glued each picture into my Bible as I finished it. There are 40 miniatures in the Ramsey Psalter, and I’m hoping to replicate  all of them. Ten pictures are completed, four are ready to paint, and I’m working on the drawings for three more. Here are three of the most recent. They are approximately 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″.

Hello everyone!

I’ve been a silent member for almost a year, but I have enjoyed your work immensely!

I’m an amateur. These last two months I started learning my way into the digital world with Procreate. It has been a little bit of a struggle. But I’m happy at the prospect of a final scanner independence.

This drawing started as a sketch, but in the end I loved the sketchy nature of it. I’m a beginner but I would love your opinion in order to improve. Thank you! God bless y’all! 🙂
